BYROOT is a new techno project consisting of lebanese artist Lara Mutinous and german techno artist Bennetto Stiletto. Both inspired by organic and deep techno they met coincidentally in the city of Beirut, Lebanon and decided to collaborate. Hence the name BYROOT, which is also a wink to the roots of their sound. BYROOTs musical philosophy is based on a stripped down approach to a straight forward sound, compatible with todays techno scene, yet focused on their own original and unique style. Their first track release „Technokarriere“ will be released on the „Teknolekt“ Label, the techno imprint of UNLTD Recordings , which is the brainchild of techno veterans U96 ( Ingo Hauss and Hayo Lewerentz) who contributed greatly to the early techno scene in the 90s. BYROOT are exited to perform their live-act as well as their DJ Sets in clubs and festivals around the world very soon.
