Description
West London based Alt Rock 3-piece Calling All Astronauts in conjunction Supersonic Media have come up with the most complicated promo campaign in history, their “Influences EP”, a quadruple A-side single. Four tracks that have influenced their love of music, all streamed two weeks apart, each with a video. The campaign commenced on February 2nd with their Pendulumesque version of Gary Numan’s “Are ‘Friends’ Electric?” this was followed up on February 16th with a stripped back, dark, atmospheric version of T-Rex’s “Metal Guru”, Part 3 dropped on March 2nd and saw them take on the legend that is David Bowie, when they released their version of hi classic “Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)” and finally, a guitar driven Post Punk version of Deep Purple’s “Smoke On The Water” making its debut, you could think this is madness or stupidity, don’t worry, they’ve given it the full Calling All Astronauts treatment and claimed it as their own
