‘Overdrive’ is the debut single from Bangalore-based producer turned rapper REJ. ‘Overdrive’ came to life when REJ and his Fiv56ix crew went on a drive to the hills. The liberation and freedom they experienced during the getaway inspired REJ to create this juxtaposition between the life he manifests and the life he is currently living. Sonically, REJ taps into the chill rap genre with a wavy flow and bars which he thinks would be one of the signature sounds of the Indian underground hip-hop scene going forward.
