The thrilling unison of talents from diverse backgrounds has been unveiled as two-time Juno nominated artist Flipside, and Montreal's tour de force, BLK PRL, formerly known as Sandy Duperval, announce the launch of Acid 8’s edit to their electrifying new track, "Amplified." "Amplified" is an eloquent testament to the distinctive blend of these talents, intertwining the incredible call and response between the vocal talents of BLK PRL and Flipside, combining forces effortlessly over a tech house beat designed to engage the dance floor. Infused with the profound richness of hip-hop and soul, Acid 8 reworks the track into an acid-tinged tech house peak time hitter, signalling a rejuvenating shift in the electronic music scene. The track was born out of a prolific songwriting partnership formed during the pandemic. Flipside, of Italian-Canadian heritage, and BLK PRL, an artist of Haitian-Canadian descent, together crafted a masterpiece that radiates the unique fusion of their backgrounds.
