Diplo and Mark Ronson have just released today the latest track from their collaborative project Silk City: it’s titled “Electricity” and features rising star Dua Lipa. Inspired by piano-laden Chicago house classics, and employing a stunning gospel vocal from Dua, the song has lyrics written by Romy Madley-Croft of The XX with contributions from Diana Gordon, most renowned for working on Beyonce’s Lemonade. “Electricity” follows the previous hit-singles “Only Can Get Better” with vocalist Daniel Merriweather, “Feel About You” featuring Mapei, and “Loud” featuring Goldlink and Desiigner.
